When Marzette contacted me, she asked if we could do an early morning beach photoshoot. As it is now summer time in Durban, an early morning shoot means that we meet at the beach before sunrise, which at the moment is 04h50. When I arrived at Umhlanga beach, Marzette & Quellin were already there, half an hour before our scheduled meeting time, which was very impressive! Do you also get the impression that they were very excited to do their photoshoot? Typically, after arriving nice and early, there was a band of clouds sitting on the horizon, which delayed us seeing the sunrise by 10 minutes or so. We also had a cool breeze pushing in from the sea, so there was great relief as the sun rose and started to warm us up. Marzette & Quellin were great in front of the camera and were game for anything. The sunrise treated us to beautiful golden lighting and allowed us to get some magical images. I wish you both all the very best with the rest of the pregnancy and the birth of your little man!
